Exercice 1 — Concordance des temps au discours indirect
Complétez chaque phrase au discours indirect en conjuguant correctement le verbe entre parenthèses.
- She said that she ___ (work) on the project the day before.
- He told me that he ___ (not finish) his homework yet.
- They announced that the meeting ___ (take place) the following Monday.
- My manager explained that she ___ (review) our reports since the morning.
Correction
- She said that she had been working on the project the day before.
- He told me that he had not finished his homework yet.
- They announced that the meeting would take place the following Monday.
- My manager explained that she had been reviewing our reports since the morning.
Exercice 2 — Repérez les erreurs au discours indirect
Chacune des phrases suivantes contient une erreur liée au discours indirect (concordance des temps, pronom ou marqueur temporel). Réécrivez la phrase correctement.
- He said that he will call me tomorrow.
- She told that she had seen this film last night.
- They said they finish the report now.
- He explained that he don't understand the instructions here.
Correction
- He said that he would call me the next day.
- She told me that she had seen that film the night before.
- They said they were finishing the report at that moment.
- He explained that he didn't understand the instructions there.
Exercice 3 — Choisissez la bonne transformation
Pour chaque phrase au discours direct, choisissez la version au discours indirect qui respecte toutes les règles vues dans le cours.
- Direct speech: "I am reading a very interesting book," she said.
- Direct speech: "We have already submitted the application," they told the manager.
- Direct speech: "I can help you with this tomorrow," he said.
- Direct speech: "This is the best solution we have found here," she explained.
Correction
- She said that she was reading a very interesting book.
- They told the manager that they had already submitted the application.
- He said that he could help me with this the next day.
- She explained that that was the best solution they had found there.
