Exercice 1 — Complétez avec la bonne forme emphatique
Complétez chaque phrase en ajoutant l'auxiliaire emphatique correct (do, does ou did) à la bonne place.
- She ___ (do) understand the consequences of her actions, even if she rarely shows it.
- I ___ (do) tell you the meeting had been rescheduled — you simply weren't listening.
- They ___ (do) appreciate your efforts, but they feel the deadline is unrealistic.

Transformez chaque phrase neutre en phrase clivée en it (it-cleft) pour mettre en emphase l'élément indiqué entre crochets.
- Reformulez en mettant en emphase [her perseverance] : Her perseverance ultimately secured the contract.
- Reformulez en mettant en emphase [in Berlin] : They first met in Berlin during the summit.
- Reformulez en mettant en emphase [the CEO] : The CEO announced the restructuring plan yesterday.
- Reformulez en mettant en emphase [last night] : The system crashed last night and corrupted all the files.
