Exercice 1 — Appliquer le backshift
Complétez chaque phrase au discours rapporté en conjuguant correctement le verbe entre parenthèses selon la règle du backshift.
- Direct: "I am working on a new project." → She said she ___ (work) on a new project.
- Direct: "We have already eaten." → They told me they ___ (already / eat) .
- Direct: "I will call you tomorrow." → He said he ___ (call) me the next day.
- Direct: "She can speak three languages." → He mentioned that she ___ (speak) three languages.
Correction
- She said she was working on a new project.
- They told me they had already eaten.
- He said he would call me the next day.
- He mentioned that she could speak three languages.
Exercice 2 — Du discours direct au discours rapporté
Transformez chaque phrase du discours direct en discours rapporté en appliquant les règles de backshift, de changement de pronoms et d'adverbes de temps.
- Direct: "I don't know where my keys are," said Anna.
- Direct: "Are you coming to the party tonight?" he asked her.
- Direct: "We bought this house two years ago," they said.
- Direct: "What time did the meeting start?" she asked him.
Correction
- Anna said that she didn't know where her keys were.
- He asked her if she was coming to the party that night.
- They said that they had bought that house two years before.
- She asked him what time the meeting had started.
Exercice 3 — Corriger les erreurs au discours rapporté
Chaque phrase contient une erreur liée au discours rapporté (backshift, pronom, structure de question rapportée). Réécrivez la phrase entièrement et correctement.
- He told that he will finish the report the next day.
- She asked me where did I live.
- They said me they are very tired after the trip.
- He wanted to know if I can help him tomorrow.
Correction
- He said that he would finish the report the next day.
- She asked me where I lived.
