Exercice 1 — Le subjonctif en contexte

Complétez chaque phrase en conjuguant correctement le verbe entre parenthèses au subjonctif.

  1. The committee insists that every candidate ___ (submit) their application before Friday.
  2. It is essential that the new policy ___ (be) reviewed by all department heads.
  3. If I ___ (be) in your position, I would reconsider that decision immediately.
  4. The judge recommended that the defendant ___ (remain) in custody until the verdict.

Exercice 2 — Du mode indicatif au subjonctif

Récrivez chaque phrase en utilisant la structure imposée entre crochets, en employant le subjonctif approprié.

  1. She doesn't have more time to study. [I wish …]
  2. He didn't call me before making that decision. [I wish …]
  3. The director said: 'All staff members must attend the meeting.' [The director demanded that …]
  4. You are not a native speaker, but you speak English fluently. [If you …]
Correction

  1. I wish she had more time to study.
  2. I wish he had called me before making that decision.
  3. The director demanded that all staff members attend the meeting.
  4. If you were a native speaker, you would not speak English any more fluently than you already do.

Exercice 3 — Repérez et corrigez les erreurs au subjonctif

Chaque phrase contient une erreur liée à l'emploi du subjonctif en anglais. Identifiez l'erreur et récrivez la phrase correctement.
