Exercice 1 — Texte à trous — Subjonctif passé

Complétez chaque phrase en conjuguant le verbe entre parenthèses au subjonctif passé (plus-que-parfait). Écrivez la phrase entière.

  1. I wish I ___ (study) harder before the exam.
  2. If she ___ (arrive) earlier, she would have caught the train.
  3. He wishes he ___ (know) about the meeting yesterday.
  4. If they ___ (listen) to the instructions, they wouldn't have made so many mistakes.
Correction

  1. I wish I had studied harder before the exam.
  2. If she had arrived earlier, she would have caught the train.
  3. He wishes he had known about the meeting yesterday.
  4. If they had listened to the instructions, they wouldn't have made so many mistakes.

Exercice 2 — Transformation — Du présent au subjonctif passé

Transformez chaque phrase en exprimant un regret ou une hypothèse irréelle dans le passé à l'aide du subjonctif passé. Réécrivez la phrase complète.

  1. She didn't tell him the truth. (I wish / she)
  2. They didn't prepare for the interview. (If / they)
  3. He didn't take an umbrella. (I wish / he)
  4. We didn't leave the house on time. (If / we)
Correction

  1. I wish she had told him the truth.
  2. If they had prepared for the interview, they would have got the job.
  3. I wish he had taken an umbrella.
  4. If we had left the house on time, we wouldn't have missed the flight.

Exercice 3 — Correction d'erreurs — Subjonctif passé

Chaque phrase contient une erreur liée à la formation du subjonctif passé. Identifiez l'erreur et réécrivez la phrase correcte en entier.

  1. I wish I have known about this problem sooner.
  2. If she had study more, she would have passed the test.
  3. He wishes he didn't accept that job last year.
  4. If they have left earlier, they would have avoided the traffic.
