Exercice 1 — Complétez les structures complexes

Complétez chaque phrase en conjuguant correctement le verbe entre parenthèses pour former la structure indiquée.

  1. If the government ___ (invest) more in renewable energy, carbon emissions would have dropped significantly. (conditional perfect)
  2. The report, which ___ (submit) to the board last week, highlighted several structural inefficiencies. (past passive)
  3. She insisted that he ___ (present) his findings before any decision could be made. (subjunctive/mandative)
  4. The scientist whose research ___ (challenge) decades of accepted theory was awarded the Nobel Prize. (past passive relative)
