Exercice 1 — Complétez avec la forme passive correcte

Complétez chaque phrase en conjuguant le verbe entre parenthèses à la voix passive au temps indiqué.

  1. The report ___ (write) by the team last Monday. (simple past)
  2. New safety rules ___ (introduce) by the government every year. (simple present)
  3. The injured passengers ___ (take) to the nearest hospital at the time of the accident. (past continuous)
  4. The project ___ (complete) by the engineers before the deadline. (future simple)
Correction

  1. The report was written by the team last Monday.
  2. New safety rules are introduced by the government every year.
  3. The injured passengers were being taken to the nearest hospital at the time of the accident.
  4. The project will be completed by the engineers before the deadline.

Exercice 2 — De la voix active à la voix passive

Transformez chaque phrase active en phrase passive. Conservez le même temps verbal et incluez le complément d'agent (by…) lorsque le sujet est connu.

  1. The journalist published the article yesterday.
  2. Scientists are currently studying the effects of climate change.
  3. The committee has already approved the new budget.
  4. Someone broke the window during the storm.
Correction

  1. The article was published by the journalist yesterday.
  2. The effects of climate change are currently being studied by scientists.
  3. The new budget has already been approved by the committee.
  4. The window was broken during the storm.

Exercice 3 — Corrigez les erreurs à la voix passive

Chaque phrase contient une erreur liée à la formation ou à l'emploi de la voix passive. Réécrivez la phrase entière correctement.

  1. The letters were wrote by the secretary this morning.
  2. This documentary is watched by millions of people last year.
  3. The new bridge has been build by a local construction company.
  4. Several mistakes were making by the students during the exam.
Correction
