Exercice 1 — Choisir la bonne expression au restaurant
Choisissez la phrase correcte pour chaque situation au restaurant.
- You want to book a table for two people. What do you say?
- The waiter asks: 'Are you ready to order?' You need a few more minutes. What do you say?
- You want to order the soup. What do you say?
- You have finished your meal and want to pay. What do you ask the waiter?
Correction
- I would like to reserve a table for two, please.
- Could we have a few more minutes, please?
- I would like the soup, please.
- Could we have the bill, please?
Exercice 2 — Associer la situation à la bonne phrase
Associez chaque situation à la phrase anglaise qui correspond.
- You arrive at the restaurant and have no reservation.
- The waiter brings your food but it is not what you ordered.
- You want to know what is in a dish before ordering.
- You enjoyed your meal and want to compliment the waiter.
Correction
- Do you have a table for two, please?
- Excuse me, I ordered the chicken, not the fish.
- What is in the pasta, please?
- The meal was delicious, thank you very much.
Exercice 3 — Compléter les phrases du restaurant
Complétez chaque phrase avec le mot ou groupe de mots manquant pour former une expression correcte au restaurant.
