Estos ejercicios te ayudarán a consolidar las estructuras vistas en el curso para expresar opiniones matizadas en inglés. Pon en práctica el uso de adverbios como *quite* y *rather*, frases como *It seems to me that…* y conectores como *although*.

Exercice 1 — Completa con el adverbio correcto

Completa cada frase con el adverbio matizador adecuado (*quite*, *rather*, *fairly* o *somewhat*) según el contexto. Escribe la frase completa en tu respuesta.

  1. I find this proposal ___ interesting, although I have a few reservations about the budget.
  2. The new policy is ___ controversial, but I can see why the government chose this approach.
  3. Her argument was ___ convincing, even though she lacked concrete evidence to support it.
  4. The results were ___ unexpected, which made it difficult to draw any clear conclusions.
Correction

  1. I find this proposal quite interesting, although I have a few reservations about the budget.
  2. The new policy is rather controversial, but I can see why the government chose this approach.
  3. Her argument was fairly convincing, even though she lacked concrete evidence to support it.
  4. The results were somewhat unexpected, which made it difficult to draw any clear conclusions.

Exercice 2 — Corrige los errores de opinión matizada

Cada frase contiene un error relacionado con el uso de frases de opinión o conectores de contraste estudiados en el curso. Identifica el error y escribe la frase completamente corregida.

  1. It seems to me although remote work has many advantages, it can also feel isolating.
  2. I quite tend to agree with your point, but I think we should consider the long-term consequences.
  3. Although I understand your concern, but I still believe that the project is worth pursuing.
  4. From my point view, the solution proposed is rather simplistic for such a complex problem.

  4. ¿Qué frase refleja mejor el uso de *rather* para matizar una opinión crítica?
