Exercice 1 — Conectores de contraste en contexto

Completa cada frase con el conector de contraste más adecuado (although, however, despite, whereas). Escribe la frase completa en tu respuesta.

  1. ___ the situation was extremely difficult, she managed to stay calm and find a solution.
  2. The project had several serious flaws. ___, the team decided to move forward with the original plan.
  3. ___ facing strong opposition from colleagues, he continued to defend his position in the meeting.
  4. Maria prefers to analyse problems methodically, ___ her partner tends to rely on intuition.
Correction

Exercice 2 — Corrige los errores gramaticales

Cada frase contiene un error relacionado con los condicionales o el vocabulario matizado del curso. Identifica el error y escribe la frase correcta completa.

Correction

  1. B — The situation is somewhat challenging, though it does present a few opportunities worth exploring.
