Choisissez parmi can, must, should ou might pour compléter chaque phrase en fonction du sens exprimé (capacité, obligation, conseil ou possibilité).

Chaque phrase contient une erreur dans l'emploi d'un auxiliaire modal. Réécrivez la phrase entière avec le modal correct en justifiant votre choix par le sens visé.
- You must take an umbrella — it might rain, but it's not certain at all. (conseil non-obligatoire)
- He should speak Japanese after living there for only two weeks. (capacité acquise)
- They can submit their reports by Friday — it is a strict company rule. (obligation ferme)
- I must be wrong about the date, but I'm really not sure either way. (possibilité incertaine)

Exercice 3 — Reformulez en changeant le marqueur de modalité
Transformez chaque phrase en remplaçant le modal souligné par celui indiqué entre parenthèses. Réécrivez la phrase complète en adaptant le sens si nécessaire.
- You must consult a doctor about those symptoms. → Reformulez avec should (conseil, ton moins impératif).
- She can join the meeting remotely. → Reformulez avec might (possibilité incertaine).
- They might finish the project before the deadline. → Reformulez avec must (obligation absolue).
- He should solve complex equations quickly. → Reformulez avec can (capacité avérée).
