Exercice 1 — Complétez avec la forme passive correcte

Conjuguez le verbe entre parenthèses à la forme passive qui convient (modal + passif, passif parfait ou passif progressif) selon le contexte.

  1. The report ___ (must / review) by the board before the annual general meeting takes place.
  2. By the time the auditors arrived, all the financial records ___ (have / destroy).
  3. The new headquarters ___ (be / construct) for over two years when the project was finally cancelled.
  4. The safety procedures ___ (should / update) regularly in order to comply with current legislation.

Exercice 2 — De la voix active à la voix passive complexe

Transformez chaque phrase active en une phrase passive en conservant le temps, le modal ou l'aspect indiqué entre crochets. Rédigez la phrase passive complète.

  1. Someone might have leaked the confidential data to the press. [passif avec modal parfait]
  2. The committee was still debating the new policy when the minister arrived. [passif progressif au prétérit]
  3. They should have informed all stakeholders about the merger well in advance. [passif avec modal parfait]
  4. The engineers have been testing the prototype for several months. [passif parfait progressif]
Correction

Exercice 3 — Identifiez et corrigez les erreurs de passif

Chaque phrase contient une erreur dans la construction de la forme passive complexe. Réécrivez la phrase entière en la corrigeant.
