Exercice 1 — Completa las estructuras hipotéticas

Completa cada frase con la forma verbal correcta del verbo entre paréntesis para formar una estructura hipotética adecuada.

  1. If she ___ (study) harder, she would pass the exam.
  2. He would have called you if he ___ (know) your number.
  3. If I ___ (be) you, I would accept that job offer immediately.
  4. They ___ (travel) around the world if they had saved enough money.
Correction

  1. If she studied harder, she would pass the exam.
  2. He would have called you if he had known your number.
  3. If I were you, I would accept that job offer immediately.
  4. They would have travelled around the world if they had saved enough money.

Exercice 2 — Transforma las frases hipotéticas

Transforma cada frase real o directa en una estructura hipotética equivalente, manteniendo el sentido original.

  1. She doesn't have a car, so she can't drive to work. (Use a second conditional)
  2. He didn't set his alarm, so he missed the flight. (Use a third conditional)
  3. I don't speak Japanese, so I can't understand the film. (Use a second conditional)
  4. They didn't invest in that company, so they didn't make a profit. (Use a third conditional)
Correction

  1. If she had a car, she could drive to work.
  2. If he had set his alarm, he wouldn't have missed the flight.
  3. If I spoke Japanese, I would be able to understand the film.
  4. If they had invested in that company, they would have made a profit.

Exercice 3 — Corrige los errores hipotéticos

Cada frase contiene un error relacionado con las estructuras hipotéticas. Identifica el error y escribe la frase correcta completa.

  1. If I would have more time, I would learn to play the piano.
  2. She would passed the test if she had studied the night before.
  3. If he was more careful, he wouldn't make so many mistakes.
  4. They would have enjoyed the trip if the weather wouldn't have been so bad.
Correction

  1. If I had more time, I would learn to play the piano.

  3. If he were more careful, he wouldn't make so many mistakes.
