Estos ejercicios te ayudarán a poner en práctica las expresiones clave del curso para concertar una cita en inglés. Entrena las situaciones más comunes: proponer, aceptar y cancelar un encuentro.

Exercice 1 — ¿Qué dices en cada situación?

Lee cada situación y elige la frase más adecuada en inglés.

  1. Quieres proponer una reunión para el martes por la tarde. ¿Qué dices?
  2. Tu interlocutor te propone quedar el viernes y tú aceptas. ¿Qué dices?
  3. Necesitas cancelar una cita que ya habías confirmado. ¿Qué dices?
  4. Quieres sugerir otro horario después de cancelar. ¿Qué dices?
Correction

  1. Are you free on Tuesday afternoon?
  2. Friday sounds great, I'll be there.
  3. I'm afraid I have to cancel our meeting.
  4. Could we reschedule for next week?

Exercice 2 — Completa la conversación

Rellena los espacios en blanco con la frase correcta en inglés para completar el diálogo de forma natural.

  1. A: Hi! I'd like to set up a meeting. ___ on Monday morning?
    B: Yes, Monday morning works for me.
  2. A: What time suits you best?
    B: ___. Does that work for you?
  3. A: I'm sorry, I have to cancel our appointment tomorrow.
    B: No problem. ___?

Correction

Exercice 3 — Di lo mismo de otra manera

Reformula cada frase en inglés usando una expresión diferente pero con el mismo significado, como se ha visto en el curso.

  1. Are you free on Thursday?
  2. Let's meet at two o'clock.
  3. I can't come to the meeting.
  4. Can we change the time of our appointment?
Correction

  1. Are you available on Thursday?
  2. How about meeting at two o'clock?
  3. I'm not able to make it to the meeting.
  4. Could we reschedule our appointment?
