Estos ejercicios te ayudarán a consolidar el uso del condicional presente en inglés (if + past simple + would). Pon a prueba lo que has aprendido en el curso con situaciones hipotéticas reales.

Exercice 1 — Rellena los huecos con la forma correcta

Completa cada frase con la forma correcta del verbo entre paréntesis para construir una oración condicional presente (if + past simple + would).

  1. If she ___ (have) more time, she would travel around the world.
  2. He would call you if he ___ (know) your number.
  3. If we ___ (live) closer, we would see each other more often.
  4. They would be happier if they ___ (work) less.
Correction

  1. If she had more time, she would travel around the world.
  2. He would call you if he knew your number.
  3. If we lived closer, we would see each other more often.
  4. They would be happier if they worked less.

Exercice 2 — Transforma las frases al condicional presente

Reescribe cada frase usando la estructura del condicional presente en inglés (if + past simple + would). Mantén el mismo sentido hipotético.

  1. I don't have a car, so I can't drive to work.
  2. She isn't tall enough, so she can't join the basketball team.
  3. We don't speak Japanese, so we can't understand the film.
  4. He doesn't study hard, so he doesn't pass his exams.
Correction

  1. If I had a car, I would drive to work.
  2. If she were tall enough, she would join the basketball team.
  3. If we spoke Japanese, we would understand the film.
  4. If he studied hard, he would pass his exams.

Exercice 3 — Corrige los errores en las frases

Cada frase contiene un error en la estructura del condicional presente. Identifica el error y escribe la frase correcta y completa.

  1. If I would have more money, I would buy a new laptop.
  2. She would travel to Japan if she will speak Japanese.
  3. If they lived in Paris, they will visit the Eiffel Tower every week.
  4. He would helped us if he knew about the problem.
Correction
