Exercice 1 — Fill in the Blank – Conjugate in the Imperfect

Complete each sentence by conjugating the verb in parentheses in the imperfect tense (l’imparfait).

1. Quand j’___ (être) enfant, j’habitais à Lyon.
2. Nous ___ (aller) souvent à la plage pendant les vacances.
3. Elle ___ (finir) toujours ses devoirs avant le dîner.
4. Vous ___ (prendre) le bus pour aller au travail.

Exercice 2 — Transformation – Present to Imperfect

Rewrite each sentence by changing the verb from the present tense to the imperfect tense (l’imparfait) to describe a past habit or ongoing past situation.
