Correction
- I mean… it's kind of like a system that, well, organizes everything automatically.
- Well, I'm not entirely sure, but I think it has something to do with the way companies manage their data.
- Actually, what I meant to say is that the meeting was moved to Thursday, not Wednesday.
- Right, and that reminds me of a similar situation I went through last year at work.
- A: 'Do you think remote work is better than working in an office?' B: '___ it really depends on the person, I suppose.'
- A: 'What do you call that thing you use to, you know, lock your bike?' B: '___ it's on the tip of my tongue… I think it's called a bike lock, actually.'
- A: 'So you said the event is on Friday?' B: '___ what I meant was that the event is on Saturday, not Friday — sorry about the confusion!'
- A: 'Have you ever tried to learn a musical instrument?' B: '___ I started learning the guitar a few years ago, but I never really kept it up.'
Correction
- Well, it really depends on the person, I suppose.
- Oh, it's on the tip of my tongue… I think it's called a bike lock, actually.
- Actually, what I meant was that the event is on Saturday, not Friday — sorry about the confusion!
- Well, I mean, I started learning the guitar a few years ago, but I never really kept it up.
- Phrase à reformuler : 'I do not know this word. I cannot continue speaking.'
- Phrase à reformuler : 'I said Friday but it is wrong. The correct day is Monday.'
- Phrase à reformuler : 'This question is hard. I am not sure. I stop here.'
- Phrase à reformuler : 'You spoke about travel. I also travelled. It was good.'
Correction
- Well, I don't know the exact word for it, but it's kind of like a tool that helps you track your spending automatically.
- Actually, what I meant to say is that the deadline is on Monday, not Friday — sorry for the mix-up!
- Well, that's a tricky one — I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's related to how the brain processes new information over time.
- Right, and speaking of travel, I actually had a really similar experience when I visited Portugal last summer — it was incredible!
